Chad Mediate, PT
Chad, a graduate of the doctorate PT program of Ohio University in 2008, has practiced in multiple settings and believes in a whole body approach to physical therapy. He has been an instructor for a graduate level course in biomechanical lower extremity evaluation, foot typing, and shoe selection. Chad has continued with education in the McKenzie Method and in manual therapy including the Kaltenborn approach for spinal and extremity mobilization and manipulation, muscle energy, myofascial release, and positional release. He has trained with the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Rehab department and treatment of the Orlando Ballet at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. After practicing in Florida and Ohio, Chad has recently settled in San Diego where he has become a member of the Girard Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Team.
