I have had 2 total hip replacements with 2 different surgeons from Girard Orthopedics. I had no problems with scheduling; Dr. Kimball's secretary went overboard, even calling my home to schedule appointments and surgery, long after office hours were over. I'm not sure why others have had problems, but I would definitely recommend this group to my friends.

I have been seen twice by Dr. Michael Collins after a fall that seriously injured my foot and ankle. The staff answers the phone promptly and they listen to what you say. I was able to see the doctor the same week I called. On both visits, I have been seen exactly at my appointment time and have been finished in 1/2 hour or less. Dr. Collins is extremely personable and took time to answer all my questions. He recommended a conservative approach to treatment, which I appreciated. (Some surgeons want to operate right away!) Do plan to get there ahead of your appointment time, though, because parking is often a challenge at this building. There are other orthopedic doctors closer to my home, but to me it is worth driving the extra miles for such good care.
