Dr. Michael Collins is a highly skilled podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery at Girard Orthopaedic Surgeons Medical Group, Inc. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Collins is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of foot and ankle disorders.
Dr. Collins earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011. Following his graduation, he completed a three-year residency in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, under the mentorship of Drs. Michael Trepal and Kevin Jules. He joined Girard Orthopaedic Surgeons Medical Group in July 2015 and has since become an integral part of the team
Dr. Collins is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is also qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His areas of expertise include bunions, hammertoes, hallux rigidus, sports injuries, ankle instability, Achilles ruptures, and fractures.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Collins is an avid endurance athlete. He enjoys participating in marathons, ultra-marathons, trail running, triathlons, and velodrome racing. Notably, he has completed The Race Across America bicycle race as part of a two-man team and the race to the top of the Empire State Building.
