Dr. Collins joined Girard Orthopedic Surgeons Medical Group in July 2015. Dr. Collins earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Collins attended a 3 year reconstructive rearfoot and ankle residency in Brooklyn, New York under the guidance of Drs. Michael Trepal and Kevin Jules. Dr. Collins specializes in diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders. His areas of interests include bunions, hammertoes, hallux rigidus, sports injuries, ankle instability, Achilles ruptures, and fractures. Dr. Collins enjoys participating in endurance events including marathons, ultra-marathons, trail running, triathlons, velodrome racing and has completed The Race Across America bicycle race two man team, and race to the top of the Empire State Building.
