Dr.Rickards is a professional and efficient hand surgeon. In May 2022, I had two releases of trigger thumb and ring finger on my right hand. I had minimal pain post-operation and have full range of motion. Prior to surgery, I was in unbelievable pain. It was difficult to put on pants, shorts, and skirts. Dr. E. Rickards was informative, had a great bedside manner, and was a great surgeon. On July 22, 2022, my husband had surgery for bone-on-bone in his left thumb and was in a great amount of pain. Dr. Rickards transplanted a tendon from his arm into his thumb. He had 2 days of pain and is now fully pain-free and anxiously awaiting physical therapy to use his hand. The bottom line is that Dr.Rickards is competent, has a great bedside manner, and is an excellent surgeon. We totally recommend her for any hand surgery or needs. I've been seeing her since 2007. My husband and I are so grateful to her and the caring staff.

After two years of getting the runaround, Dr. Kimball figured out that my shoulder issues were an underlying neck issue. He immediately got me in to see their spine specialist, who performed surgery on my neck, put a peek cage in, and fused my neck. I have had immediate relief. The headaches, weakness, and pain I've lived with for two years are gone. If it weren't for Dr. Kimball, who put the ball in motion for me, I'd never would have had the great care. Thank you, Girard Orthopaedics! Oh, and I was referred by Tricare and never got the runaround.
