Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists help patients return to everyday life through the therapeutic use of everyday activities and functional tasks. Hand Therapy is a specialty within the fields of occupational and physical therapy. A CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) signifies the advanced qualifications of a hand therapist that has passed a certification exam demonstrating extensive knowledge of all areas of hand therapy, and has at least 3 years plus 4,000 hours of upper extremity rehab experience. Credentialing is renewed every 5 years.
Our hand therapists effectively treat and rehabilitate patients with traumatic injuries, cumulative trauma disorders, post-op rehabilitation, as well as provide preventative and non-operative conservative treatment techniques.
